Being a mom is one of my biggest blessings and one of my biggest challenges. Being a homeschooling mom (thanks COVID) and a stay-at-home mom, I know what a test of patience feels like all too well.
Have your kids or significant other ever said anything like, “Something is off with you today!” “What’s wrong? What are you so moody?” … and then you had instant mom guilt and realized of course, they were right. I do feel off today and I know I am acting a bit cray today.
Too tired, overextended, long overdue on some me time, feeling like some caged animal ready to lash out. If you don’t know those feelings, well then give yourself a medal… and send me your tips because I honestly sure know those feelings all too well. Momming ain’t easy!
So when I get in that “mood or feel off” I reach for my CBD jellies, and just like that, 30ish minutes later I feel the tension release and I’m softer and more present again. I am not June Cleaver, but I’m also not an extra on the set of the Walking Dead!
