Hey hey y’all. I cannot believe it has been a month since my last post. Life was a bit crazy this past month leading up to school starting last week and my little man turning FIVE! In case you missed the fun on social media, here are a few pics from the first day of school and Hogan’s birthday party.
We’ve officially resided Auburn for 4 months and I am not going to lie, what I thought was going to be a terrible move has turned out to be the BEST MOVE EVER!! Never in a million years did I think I would fall so in love with this town like I have… and so quickly.
Sure we have been here a few times, kidless, during football season. But I have never experienced “life” in Auburn. Let me be the first to tell you… life is good in “God’s Country – on the Plains”.
Now that the kids are back in school I am taking some time to work on me, get this house cleaned and organized and figure out my next steps in the cannabis world.
Unfortunately due to all the COVID craziness, we are pushing back the Denver workshops and looking at trying to get those started up in early 2022. While I am sad, I am also relieved. IMO, there is just too much going on right now and with so much fear and anxiety around all that COVID has brought into so many people’s lives, it is not worth risking anything at this point. Also, I don’t want to teach my course in a classroom with only 1-2 people in there… and I definitely don’t want to teach it virtually all day long. I want that room to be filled with smiling faces 🙂 So right now, we’ve hit the pause button and I am A-okay with that!
Personally, I get to take a hot minute to not stress about completing my lecture/powerpoint this next 6 weeks and I don’t need to scramble to line up sitters to help with the kids when I scheduled to be out of town monthly. But most importantly, I don’t get to miss much of FOOTBALL season!!!
So while I go with the flow, I continue to work on my CBD side hustle with Green Compass (BUY CBD PRODUCTS HERE), consult with friends, family and new intrigued customers on the benefits of adding cannabis into your daily wellness routine, and be a mommy & wife… which we all know is the HARDEST, but most rewarding job there is out there.
