So apparently the #1 tip for moving with kids, especially little kids (mine are 2 & 4) is… DON’T DO IT!
For anyone that know my family personally, knows we are professional movers. I got this moving game down pat. It definitely gets easier with experience – at least the physical part. Tying to pack and Tetris all the boxes of crap we have accumulated over the years brings me back to my Nintendo days…I got this. Plus it doesn’t hurt that I have a moving service coming to help tomorrow and they prided themselves that they use students…from the athletic department.
With my quick whit, I instantly asked if the boys from the athletic department “liked married women with kids”…
I received a chuckle on the other end of the phone and visioned him blushing as he decided how to respond. Before he could answer, I let him know I was just joking.. but really could they send some of the stud football players, ha!
While I can take the physical demands of the move, the emotional piece kills me. It didn’t always use to be this bad, but then again, it was only Jon and me. A two person move, just a little of our junk, easy peasy lemon squeezy. Now add two kids into the mix, YEARS of collecting all these amazing toys with so many rad little pieces, crazy mommy comes out. My OCD and anxiety go into overdrive. I look around in confusion on where to start, what to keep, what to do. For a moment I am a lost cause looking for direction – deer in headlights… then the crowd starts cheering and screaming.
I got this….took my 500mg Full SYou know what – I got this… I took my 500mg Full Spectrum CBD Oil this morning like clockwork. I lathered on the FDA registered Reduce Pain Cream, told Alexa to play Eric Church Live radio, lit my new bomb-diggity Hemp Candle Craft and began the process: packing, purging and taking time to post!
